ORGANIC Eggs
Organic eggs come from free-range poultry fed exclusively with organic feed and grown on certified organic farms or in the countryside, and do not receive hormones or medications that may contaminate eggs.
Consumers can see the origin of the eggs and find out if they are the product of organic or conventional poultry farming by observing the code on the package. The first digit of the code corresponds to the way the eggs were produced. If the eggs are organic, the first digit is zero (0). The rest of the code digits refer to the country of origin and production unit, production chamber and batch code.
