In organic poultry farming, bird nutrition and living conditions are among the main concerns in the production process.

Very precise and strict rules apply regarding the origin of birds, free-range grazing, their feed and veterinary treatments.


Poultry destined for organic livestock farming are grown with access to open spaces in order to move freely. They eat high-quality organic feed, and their meat needs twice as much time to reach consumption compared to conventional poultry farming. The use of chemical veterinary drugs, hormones and antibiotics is forbidden.
