Food Expo – Greece 2019 was successfully held on the 16th until the 18th of March at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. Our program, European Food Masters – Taste the Authentic, provided 15 businesses with the opportunity to exhibit their P.D.O., P.G.I. and Organic products, such as olive oil, olives, dairy products, wine and meat of Crete. This year, 72.000 visitors in total, both producers and consumers, attended the exhibition, where the Cretan businessmen met with foreign exporters and entepreneurs in order to promote local products. Furthermore, we organised a special gastronomy event, supported by the Executive Chefs from the Hellenic Chef’s Association, Vaggelis Smaragdakis, George Kagialis and Panagiotis Kallinosis, who prepared special cretan traditional dishes for the visitors.
